Marjorie Ann's Story
Having moved to Munich in mid Feb, we lived downtown in a hotel for a few months so after my first ever liter of beer I left the Hofbrau to streets of celebrations. Quite a change from California and oh, yea, you remember the winter weather. My father worked at Radio Liberty from 64-71.
The Munich American High School was big and scary. I got there in the middle of my Freshman year. Ate lunch in the bathrooms cuz the cafeteria was too much. Met some friends who were in their too, smoking cigs and being hoods!.
So after my first sex ever, with Ramon Semidy-Soto I was sent to a girls boarding school in Switzerland.
By January I was showing and what a shock to everyone especially me.
6 months pregnant.
Tony, my son, was adopted in Switzerland and then found me when he was 24 and is now living very near me with a wonderful wife and an 18 year boy who is my only grandchild.

de again. Highschool is kind of a blur but very clear memories bubble up to the surface randomly.
After graduation I went to Cal Poly in San LUis Obispo in California. 1969 in California (and with my parents still in Germany) was wild. I embraced hippie-dom living in a tipi in Big Sur after going back and forth to Germany a few more times.
I now have 5 children including Tony. Thanking the universe that they are all healthy and wise!
The past 30 years I've been in a little town called Rough and Ready near Grass Valley and Nevada City California. Gold Country. The kids did it all with 4H and sports etc. Now they are all grown up and live not too far away.
I ended up with a BA and K-8 credential and then preschool and infant/toddler units. Last job was with Headstart/Kidzkount.
Wow - get me going and I will write and write and write!
